Built by a Florida microschool, for Florida microschools

Make sure every Step Up payment is accounted for.

Microschool Ledger connects tuition, family balances, and Step Up scholarship payments so you can identify missing or short payments, reduce spreadsheet reconciliation, and know exactly where your school stands.

No pressure. We'll begin with how your school handles billing today and only show the parts that are relevant to your workflow. We reserve 30 minutes so there's room for questions; most walkthroughs take about 20.

The reconciliation problem

The payment arrived. But was it the right amount?

1

Missing or unmatched payments

Sometimes scholarship payments don't match what was expected or aren't easily connected to the correct student or billing period.

2

Short payments

Direct-pay amounts don't always cover every charge, leaving remaining balances that still require attention.

3

Hours of reconciliation

Tuition, scholarships, bookkeeping, spreadsheets, and accounting systems often all live in different places.

When financial information is spread across multiple systems, reconciliation takes longer and it's harder to know what still needs attention.

Before and after

Replace uncertainty with one clear family ledger.

Before Microschool Ledger

  • Step Up exports checked manually
  • Tuition in spreadsheets
  • Payments tracked separately
  • Remaining balances found later
  • Parent statements recreated
  • Reports rebuilt every month

With Microschool Ledger

  • Scholarship imports matched automatically
  • Tuition, credits, and payments together
  • Remaining balances clearly visible
  • Unresolved items easier to identify
  • Parent statements available immediately
  • Real-time financial picture

Operator-built

Built inside a real microschool—not a software lab.

Microschool Ledger was developed while operating The GROW Co-op in Boca Raton.

We built it because our own tuition, scholarship, billing, and reporting process had become too complicated to manage across spreadsheets and disconnected systems.

Common questions

A few things you may be wondering.

Does this replace QuickBooks?

No. Microschool Ledger manages the family-level operational detail that is awkward to maintain in accounting software and can work alongside QuickBooks.

Is this only for Step Up schools?

No. It manages tuition, family billing, payments, statements, and reporting for microschools broadly. Its Step Up workflow is especially deep because it was built in Florida.

Will we have to change our entire process?

No. The conversation starts with what you do today. The goal is to simplify the disconnected parts, not force a wholesale change on day one.

Is this a sales presentation?

It is a practical 20-minute conversation. We'll ask about your current process and show only the parts of Microschool Ledger that are relevant.
